1951 Parker 51 Special Midnight Blue Nib Stainless Steel Cap Fine Nib WORKS Hoop

Description

This vintage midnight blue diamond Parker 51 Special is 5 1/2" 139  mm (capped) with  a date code 51.    The  arrow clip and the cap are stainless steel. The cap is marked PARKER.  On the barrel- MADE IN U.S.A. 51. The jewel is pearl colored.   I tested with water and then filled with ink and the nib wrote very smoothly with what according to my nib chart is a fine but maybe extra- fine- see photo #9.  After emptying the ink I flushed the pen with water.  On the hoop part - PARKER "51" SPECIAL TO FILL PRESS .......                                    ----------
