PARKER SLENDER MAXIMA VACUMATIC IN BROWN PEARL, GFT, 2-TONED 14KT NIB, 1941

Description

Here a super clean PARKER SLENDER MAXIMA VACUMATIC pen date marked second quarter of 1941 and 5-5/16" long. The  pen looks like it just came off the line, perfect gold filled trim and full blue in the blue diamond. Black cap jewels sparkle. Just noticed a rather obscure full name monogram opposite the imprint. Pen has a speedline filler that moves normally, but will need a new diaphragm before it will take up ink. The pen has a 2-toned arrow nib with no wear to the platinum(?) mask. The nib also has a second quarter '41 date mark.  It is a fine, quite firm nib, straight and with good iridium. Great pen.
