RARE No 16 PARKER FILIGREE EYEDROPPER FOUNTAIN PEN

Description

-  This is a very rare Parker No 16 Eyedropper with Gold Filled Filigree –  likely by Heath – in well preserved condition. There are no chips or cracks, the black hard rubber body has a soft and very beautiful patina and the Gold Filled Filigree is gorgeous with no wear  I can see – you may find a touch somewhere but it looks great to me. The barrel end is marked with the correct 16 in a circle – the pen body is likely imprinted under the vacant indici. The Gold Filled work is not signed anywhere but  is almost certainly by Heath – as was much of Parker’s early  metalwork. The nib is missing – fortunately the easiest fix of all –  details of the eyedropper section are not pictured as it is a bit tight and I do not want to force anything – the Xmas Tree feed is good.  This is a pen that seldom surfaces – hard enough to find in BHR -  the Filigree version maybe once in years.
