Rare Vintage Bisque Maruyama Japan Mermaid Figurines & Child Riding Dolphin Set

eBay now charges sellers a percentage of what the item sells for, the same percentage of what the buyer pays for shipping, and the same percentage on what they charge the buyer for tax. Not sure if all of this is legal but buyers need to know what eBay is doing to sellers.
These were tough to do any research on... the mermaids are tough to find, and the child riding the dolphin seems to be non-existent.
The mermaid with the green tail writing the rolling surf with her hands away from her body measures approximately 5.75" tall, and 5" long. If you look closely both of her arms have greenware flaws .... They have that "applied" appearance, evidently there was an issue before firing because they are not repaired or glued on this was a manufacturing issue and if you do some research you will see that every one of them you find online will have the same issue.
The mermaid with the blue tail resting on the starfish measures approximately 5.5" long, and 5.75" tall. This little beauty has the same issue on the starfish arm that I found on the one I looked up online in exactly the same spot so it must have been a week place in manufacturing. I took a close up shot of it so you can decide whether it is a greenware flaw or a repair after the fact.
The child riding the dolphin in the surf blowing a conch shell horn measures approximately 5.75" tall, and 4.75" long..... I find no issues with this piece.
All three pieces are marked the same on the bottom in a dark red color with "Maruyama Japan".
I believe these were made in either the 1940s or 1950s.
If you collect mermaids or half dolls these would be a welcome addition!

This set is such a rare find, I will be using lots of packing materials, and double wall box for shipping. Shipping weight safely packed is 2 lbs.15 oz.
