This is a brand new street rod Vega steering box and a Polished 5/8-36 Spline X 3/4" DD U-Joint. Our Vega Boxes are 100% brand new, nothing is
re-manufactured
!  They provide very smooth steering, much better than an OEM or rebuilt box.  The steering ratio is the standard 20:1.  The needle bearing design also makes these boxes much longer lasting. The u-joint is made from polished steel and is used to connect the steering box to the 3/4" DD steering shaft. T
he fastener is designed for better attachment and upgraded safety.  They use a high quality needle bearing and have a working angle of up to 38 degrees.
These vega box kits are ideal for many street rod applications, especially early Ford and Chevy cars (Model A, 1932 Ford, Rat Rods). They are not recommended for vehicles over 3,000 pounds.
