Uncommon Parker 75 Fountain Pen with 14K M Nib USA

Offered here is a very interesting and uncommon (Prototype?) Parker 75 Fountain Pen with a Medium 14K solid gold nib made in U.S. A.
It has a 75 style feathered clip and 75 indented top cap tassie in silver/chrome; 75 graduated section with metal converter marked Parker with the Parker Halo & Made in U.S.A.;
The Cap appears to be a brushed metal and Barrel is dimpled Parker Flighter style - note the approximately 3/4 inch end of the barrel which has received some type of procedure resulting in a Maroon (?) or red/green finish.  No really sure what I would call the color on the end as it appears to be different in different light.
There are no markings on the barrel and the cap is marked Made in USA.
A similar pen barrel is shown on Parker75 dot com as Prototype Item #20 in the Reference Section.  Many other colors were also created - specific technique unknown.
It is not likely that this pen was ever sold to the public - it came from a former Parker employee.
The pen is listed as used (it may have been inked - don't know) but there are no signs of ink or use that I can see.
