    Description

    Vintage 1950’s Brown/Burgundy Aero-metric Parker 51 Demi Fountain Pen With Med 51 - 14K Nib. The shiny Chrome cap has a Pearl jewel and gold filled arrow clip. The pen measures~5-1/16”
    I’m not sure of the official Parker color of this pen. It appears to be closer to Cordovan Brown than Burgundy. The person I purchased it from claims it to be Brown.
    The Aero-metric “51” Demi began production in 1948, the design is a little longer than the Vacumatic-filling Demi and a little thinner than the standard pen. It has a nice slender fit in your hand.
    The barrel imprint is very faint, I can’t make out the Parker name (even under magnification) that usually appears on the 1st line, but I can see the 2nd line with the date code that reads “ Made in U.S.A. 5.1
    This pen is in working condition, it fills and writes well. The Medium 14K nib writes very smooth and floats across the page. Overall the pen is in very good condition, very clean, no defects.
    This is an Aerometic fill pen, the imprint on the U shaped filler reads :
    To fill
    press ribbed bar four
    times. Wipe front end,
    Pen point down, with
    soft tissue. Use dry writing
