VINTAGE Matching Pair BIRCH HALE BARRISTER STACKING LAWYER'S SECTIONAL BOOKCASE

Description

Hale started building these barrister bookcases in 1907 and is still building these timeless pieces today. These two matching bookcases are made from lustrous birch wood which looks very much like mahogany. Each bookcase is comprised of 6 pieces. There is the base followed by 4 window sections and finally the top cap. These bookcases stack so you can keep them as four stacks or put them together in whatever combination works for you since they are completely interchangeable. The stacking ability of these bookcases make them easy to transport. Each bookcase as they are pictured is 63 5/8" tall, 34 5/16" wide and 11 1/4" deep. Two of the stacks are 14" tall while the other two are 12" tall. These two height sizes give you greater flexibility with your book or collectible sizes. The book sections have glass doors that lift up and slide back into the case. The glass doors keep your books or collectibles basically dust free. Each door has metal equalizers that make opening and closing the doors effortless. With a matched set like these you can stand them next to each other or have them on either side of a window. New from the factory these bookcases are close to 00.00 each. These bookcases are for local pick-up. I can also deliver them within The Mid-Atlantic area for a fee.
