WWI US Army Enlisted Breeches LARGE SIZE !

Description

Listed is a pair of original WWI US enlisted wool breeches. It's olive drab in color and the darker pictures shown are closer than the lighter ones. This is one of the largest original US WWI breeches I've seen. Please look at my measurements and compare them to yours. Note, the inseam length is meant to stop just below the knee instead of the ankle like modern trousers. Also note it has a generous amount of material in the seat of the breeches. It Features two pockets in the front (along with watch-pocket) & two in back. It also has original laces below which are missing most of the time. It also has suspender buttons inside.
The overall condition is good. The bottom buttons were replaced at one point with civilian ones. There's one moth-hole (shown) which is expected for an item over 100-years old. The most noticeable issue is that a piece of the cloth is missing just below the right pocket (shown) while the liner underneath liner is perfectly intact. This could possibly be repaired/patched? Once a tunic is worn, it would never be seen.
This may not be an item for a collector of mint items but this is a rare opportunity to own an original historic uniform that you can actually wear! This item is perfect for someone who does living history, school presentations, etc.
Don't bother with cheap flimsy reproductions made in Pakistan when you can wear the real thing with all of the original details that a tailor cannot reproduce today.
